Meet the Artist

Mourad Mekhael is a contemporary abstract artist who resides in New Jersey and works in New York. He is a visionary who draws inspiration from his upbringing in Egypt, where art surrounded him in various forms such as sculpture, dance, and visual arts. Despite not pursuing a formal education in fine arts, his passion for craft, drawing, and painting remained ingrained in him.

Mekhael's artistic philosophy is shaped by his early exposure to modern abstract art and is profoundly influenced by the organic movements found in nature, space, and geometry. His works showcase his unique interpretation of new school modern abstract through his skillful use of textures, metallics, natural tones, and vibrant colors.

In the artist's own words, "Abstract art has a captivating way of tricking and stimulating the mind, revealing something with every glance, and that is truly fascinating to me."

Mekhael's artistic journey is a testament to his unwavering passion and dedication to his craft, and his creations continue to captivate audiences with their intriguing blend of abstract expression and visual storytelling.
